The Nutmeg award is the Children's Choice Award for the State of Connecticut. Rock Hill students are challenged with reading the Nutmeg nominees, so they can vote on their favorite book in April. Votes are tabulated across the state to determine the winning book. Students that read enough books are also invited to a pizza party with Mrs. Widman in the spring.
